Fetterman, possibly the last rational democrat in DC, made a surprise appearance at the Republican National Convention to introduce a friend of his,
Dave McCormick, who represents the other side of the aisle. This has fueled speculation that Fetterman might join the likes of Tulsi Gabbard, Joe Lieberman and even Donald Drumpf in leaving the democrat party.

Personally, i am torn. I’d like to see more rational and reasonable democrats, not fewer. But that particular asylum is clearly run by the nutjobs now. So i understand.
What do you think? Will John Fetterman abandon the democrats? Should he? Is it really a good thing?

agree with you. id like to see middle people. I don't agree with trump on a few items. it could be debated, pulling towards center seems better... maybe. maye it get us all killed, not sure:)

Ironically the guy who is brain damaged is the smartest member if the democrat party. The democrats will primary him even though he votes 90% with the democrats. He appeals to moderate democrats and independents. He says he is a lifelong democrat but if he is going to get primaried he might move to the Republican party.

The scuttlebutt suggests “independent”. I actually like that term because it forces people to actually invest some time into understanding what a politician actually stands for, rather than just assuming, right or wrong, that they toe the party line.
