Some people dress like the woman in the photo above, but this style is more common in the Aegean region. In general, though, people in cities tend to dress more like this. We care about how we dress and put some thought into our appearance.

What do people in Turkeye do for fun?

We all get together as a family. Spending time together as a family is very important to us. We also really love drinking coffee. Even the farthest café is only about 10 meters from our home. We have a strong coffee culture. We enjoy going to the movies and theater, reading books, and, most of all, taking part in sports activities. As you know, we're a sports-loving country.

what sports do you have? Are there any gyms that people workout in?

From young people to older adults, so many people in our country are involved in different kinds of sports. For example, speaking for myself, I’m into yoga and tennis. My younger brother plays soccer, while my older brother is into fitness. People around us are also involved in different sports in similar ways.

There is a lot of encouragement for sports in our country. In particular, our sports facilities and activities are generally free, and we encourage children to get involved in sports from a young age.

Our gyms and sports facilities are quite good and well maintained. There are more than three gyms in the neighborhood where I live, and that’s not even counting the smaller ones or private boutique studios. There are so many different sports we can get involved in. We have everything from martial arts, tennis, basketball, swimming, running, and karate to so many other sports that I couldn’t even list them all. There are plenty of opportunities to find a sport that you enjoy.

Sexuality is a basic human need. We may not always have disagreements within our own community on this matter, but we live in a country that is home to many different communities and perspectives, and we deeply respect people’s individual choices.

I can’t really comment on Turkish barbers specifically, but we are a very hardworking people who genuinely value our customers. The five people you met are only a small sample and don’t represent everyone. Our motto is: “Be honest, be hardworking.”

There are certainly valid and necessary reasons behind our urban planning decisions. However, the situation isn’t quite as you described. We have a sufficient number of public seating areas; you probably just didn’t come across them.

Also, when it comes to your health, the squatting position is actually considered the better option. We are a society that places great importance on health.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply—I just noticed your message. There are many churches in Turkey, and there is also a Christian population, especially in certain regions. That's simply their preference. Turkey has no official state religion, and we are generally a society that respects different beliefs and perspectives.

Yes, the majority of people in Turkey are Muslim. However, officially, Turkey is a secular country.

Differences of opinion will always exist, and that’s true for everyone. Sometimes, we even disagree with our own parents. There’s no denying that these things happen in our country. We are aware of what’s going on, and we stand by our position.

It’s normal for societies to have problems and disagreements. However, the situation is not quite as you may have been led to believe.

There is no official separation between Kurds and Turks in our country. Armenian people also live in Turkey and continue to live throughout different parts of the country. The hostility that may appear from the outside does not necessarily reflect the reality of everyday life here.

In the eastern regions, there have been cases where Kurdish children have been abducted by militant organizations and forced to fight for them. Some families have waited and struggled for years to have their children returned, fearing for their lives and the safety of their families. Many mothers have held vigils in front of government buildings, day and night, hoping to be reunited with their children. Some have eventually managed to get their children back.

For many of these families, this has been a quiet struggle of its own.

So, in short, even when people try to turn us against one another, we are not so easily divided. For us, brotherhood, solidarity, and our homeland are deeply important.

It’s not me everyone of them want to come to America and live the dream win the lottery ticket with an American husband. I have been on the site for many years I know.. and I was even warned by this turkey girl what they do. Besides I have nothing in common with them they don’t like sports or anything else and they’re very stubborn and strict and argumentative. I’ve never had such a problem with other women before. And there are not Christian. And they seem to be very bitter.

An ordinary Turkish woman is very different from what you’ve described. It wouldn’t be fair to generalize based on your experience, because it doesn’t reflect the reality of Turkish women as a whole.

I’ve been here for over 15 years. There’s many turkey women on here and I’ve talked to a lot of them. Every one of them is the same old story we end up fighting then that’s the end of it after a while.
