As someone from Central-Eastern Europe (Poland): People overestimate their ability to distinguish phenotypes (looks, after we eliminate clothing, makeup, and hairstyle differences) by a factor of a thousand.

I'm obviously being hyperbolic with the thousand, and some are greatly better at it than others, but many would be shocked how badly they'd distinguish bold, nude poeple of two ethnicities.

Your examples do include cultural differences in clothing/makeup/hairstyle.

There are also phenotypes that do occur more frequently in the west, east, south, etc. but unless one cherry-picks (or judges large groups), this doesn't matter. The description you've wrote isn't right at all.
