All the deals to release more diesel specifically says they are aware of the problem, and it's of course convenient to want to try to fix it a month from the midterms, but they should probably realise by now that anything they do will only have minimal effect before then. Voting has already started in many places. High prices aren't going to drop significantly in any area before then. The problem needed attention long before now.
