If those bots would understand unedited questions and just improve them, this option would be okay but its current implementation is suboptimal.
Suboptimal? The bots don't like fowl language like that!
I agree. Even when I switched the bot to "Shut up" mode, it still rewrote my question.

You can try this...

paste contents of the pastebin into URL of a bookmark. This will not steal your passwords but how can you be sure? Of course by using AI to scan the code.
https://pastebin.com/Y4hsZaQy
instead of worrying about the toggle, clicking the bookmark will always lead to preview without the ai modifications.
No installing any addons or extension. The bookmark becomes the new "preview" button.
You can't shut those fuckers up!

There's a little toggle switch to turn it off but its ambiguous as to which is off and on. Either way it shouldn't be defaulted to on anyway. I sure never use it. Who thought that was a good idea I can't imagine.
I know about the tiny, microscopic toggle and I of course use it. But before you hit the send button, you have to make sure it didn't turn itself back on.
And you're right, why does it default to the on position? If a person needs help with their writing, then by all means turn on the AI. But most of us don't want a robot thinking for us. It's our thoughts and that's what we want on our questions. I love AI and that I can use it to make fun pictures and videos.
But I want to be the one in charge of my content, not some algorithm or whatever the hell you call it. I bet if it was put to a vote, 99% of the people on this site would want to get rid of it. Maybe I should have added a poll to my question, but I don't like that people can vote anonymously.
I grew up in the 20th century. Believe me machines did what you wanted back then. There was a switch or a mechanical linkage. No circuit bords or processors second guessing you. The headlights on my truck won't go off when I turn the switch off. The stay on and go off later. I'm very sick of this shit. Lots of people like me are.
When I bought my last car I went out of my way to get the plane Jane model. I wanted manual everything.
I have a 65 im working on.
What is that?
It's a dodge van
OK..
I never use it. It's annoying because they sometimes just turn it on again.
I don't think anyone on this site wants the bots to write their titles or reply to their questions, but admin doesn't care. Such a strange site where the administration doesn't care about the members or what they want. ๐๐
Some people may appreciate the input for AI. Others prefer to write their own questions. By switching AI on or off, people have that choice,
That doesn't answer the question, but okay. So far nobody said they wanted it. I don't know what your opinion is.
I know that AI is created by people far more intelligent than I. Therefore, read what AI writes. After reviewing how AI rewrites the question, I occasionally choose to accept AI's version. Most of the time, I restore my original questions or restore my original question after changing a few words better written by AI.
Thanks, that's why I needed to know. I didn't think anybody used it, but I guess you do. But in light of the fact that 90% of the people don't like it, it should at least default to the off position and not the on position.
How would we not know it exists?
only sometimes. mostly i switch off.
Sometimes? When would a gifted writer like you need help from a robot?๐ค
You know you can turn it off.
Yes of course. You have to flip the switch twice because they keep sneaking it back on when you're not looking.
But what's your answer to the question?
it is silly to cheat on a GaG post.
FYI That cheeky girl in the picture is a LEGAL immigrant from Havana Cuba.
(Liberals don't know what a LEGAL immigrant is.)
