Most of the time when people are assholes when they are drunk, that is how they truly feel. They have the guts.

I think what makes us good people is how we filter our feelings rather than what we feel.

That said, there's a lot we can control when we're drunk.

I don't really know what it's like to try to control bad feelings when drunk. I'm nearly always a happy telling strangers "you're neat" sort of drunk.

Once I watched someone's girlfriend dance, which pissed off her boyfriend. That happened because I don't get jealous hardly at all, so I have difficulty understanding that in others, so the only thing that the drunkenness removed was the caution. That seemed like it was sort of half my decision and half the alchohol.
