What might President Trump do if the midterm elections are totally lost?

It is likely Trump has discussed what-if's regarding the mid term elections with his team. Here's a possible outcome of the Congress is flipped. Congress will tie his hands with impeachment fever and lawfare. Congress will not pass any meaningful laws

They will restore many or most of his rescinded regulations, open the border, stop the deportations, raise taxes on the rich through the roof, decimate funding for the military and bring about a recession.

Trump must settle with Iran either before the midterm elections or within 61 days after them. If the Democrats win the midterms, his game is over. So, effectively, his Administration will end in 61 days. If you studied Civics, you know why it's 61 days.

I know many of you think Iran's nuclear threat to Western Civilization is nonsense. It's part of that incurable Orange Man Bad mental illness so many have. Have faith. Iran has a cure for it, but they won't like it. Get back to me when major cities are vaporized Shia nukes; either smuggled or launched.

Trump will have to protect himself his family and his businesses. Democrats will try to eviscerate all of those. Here is my thinking of what he should do. Trump should resign before Congress is inaugurated in January. He has nothing more to win and everything to lose. He is likely grooming JD Vance to take over. The Democrats will not be able to harm Vance although the two years remaining will be wasted by congressional inaction and endless investigations.

By the end of Vance's two year administration, the country will realize what it has lost by losing control of the Congress. Marco Rubio will be elected President and the Republicans will regain control of the Congress. JD Vance will not run because he will be too much associated with Trump.

Part 2

Trump should leave the country and settle in Geneva Switzerland. Switzerland has no extradition and Trump can afford heavily armed security. Trump should eventually move his family and his businesses there, out of reach of Democrats and terrorists, (but I repeat myself). Switzerland would welcome it.

Trump's sons would retain citizenship. Once the dust settles, they will return to the United States and become active in MAGA politics. Marco Rubio will have two successful terms and then one of Trump's sons or daughters might then run for President. That's if we do not have a civil war beforehand.

trump could perhaps limit the loses if he were to change tactics and try and come across as more concerned and supportive of the average American struggling through this financial mess. but at this point he does not seem worried about very much
