Both are fine for me, but I prefer a house.

Apartment. A house has too many responsibilities. This year alone, we had to change out our plumbing and fix our roof. The roof drained almost my parents' entire bank account, which is money that could have been used for travel. But it's not just about the money. They finished the job a week ago, and we're STILL dealing with the aftermath, cleaning and painting.
With an appartment, you don't have to worry about anything, because someone else is handling the labor and cost of the rennovations
house is more comfortable but its much more inconvenient due to stuff breaking down all the time, bad weather such as needing to shove snow, also houses are much much more prone to break ins. Apartments are safer.
a house. I lived in an apartment for a few months and there were too many people around all the time.
A house of course, but an apartment for a while’s isn’t bad either.
Prefer a house but I can’t afford the maintenance upkeep on one so I live in an apartment
Definitely a house, that's all I've ever lived in.
