The price of gas has gone up over a dollar a gallon in the last 6 months. How much more a month does it cost you in relationship of what it cost last April?
The average federal tax refund in 2025 was $3400. Are you paying more than that in added gas prices?

I have a 35 gallon tank on my truck and I fill up once a month. I am paying another 35 bucks a month. My federal taxes were reduced by almost $5000 by President Trump's tax policies. I will gladly pay another $400 for gas.

Gas - not much, maybe $50-$100. It's no issue to us. To others, it's time to go and steal fuel. I conserve, I ride my bike, I conserve trips. People complain too much.
Oil for the house... ouch! I locked in the rate $1 higher than last year at $3.50, so I'm doing great compared to others that ignored my warnings and failed to lock in the rate... whom pay $5.70. The futures market here is an awsome tool.
Over last two years roughly counting, I've saved thousands by locking in the heating oil price.
Add to it I searched for better insurance and saved thousands. I then negotiated some other rates down like electric, phone, and internet... saving another $1000.
So... in total, I'm up around $8000 a year! Thanks to me and capitalsim... competition:)!!! Just took a little time. That's $ my wife can use to buy shoes, tops and bags.
Happy wife... warm house... happy life!
the big problem is people are just lazy, or over worked. Maybe I need to turn myself into a business...
Where I live, it's $6.28/gallon right now.
I remember when I first moved here in May 2016, gas was $2.25/gallon and stayed at that price for many months.
So, what has changed in the past 10 years to justify the increase? Because I would like to know the reason please.
Holy smokes!!! That’s expensive. I’m paying $4. something now.
I’m not sure how much more we’re spending on gas because 2 of my kids have moved out and we aren’t paying for their cars anymore. However, I do wish Iran would just get wiped out once and for all instead of having this linger on.
I don't drive much. My 12 gal tank was half full when I filled up yesterday at $3.99 a gallon for my monthly station visit. That's about $4 more than past months. I can handle that.
I don't know how much more I pay, but whatever it is, it's a small price to pay for a safer world.
The increased cost of gas is the price for fighting the insanity of the Iranian regime.
I dont drive but I pay for inflation
It's about $4 here
