People are always going on about how supposedly stupid right-wing people are, yet many of those same people are financially successful. Perhaps if you were as “stupid” as they supposedly are, you might be just as successful and wealthy, especially considering you probably have a college degree. 😉

It’s their way of deflecting responsibility for their own lousy decisions. The real idiots wasted an abundance of time, energy and money on university. Where they convinced themselves of both intellectual and moral superiority. Then they graduate with their grievance studies and liberal arts degrees and can’t get a job. While still looking down their nose at us blue collar dummies who are all making good money and just living our lives, those college grads are accusing wealthy people of crimes and corruption while begging their democrat overlords to force the rest of us to pay off their sh*tty life choices. They insist that we’re only successful because “the system” just hands us white men millions of dollars and solves all of our problems for us, and that’s the only real reason we’re successful. To them, it has absolutely nothing to do with years of hard work and sacrifices. They see only the end result and assume we were gifted everything we earned.
They think that they should be the rich and powerful ones despite doing absolutely nothing to earn either. They expect to be masters of the universe just because they think they are better than us.

Because intelligence alone doesn't guarantee success or wealth. Some people are great at business, taking risks, networking, and recognizing opportunities, even if they aren't particularly good at academics or critical thinking. Others inherit wealth or benefit from luck and connections. Being rich doesn't automatically make someone smart, just as being poor doesn't make someone stupid.

Hard work and sacrifice definitely matter, but they don't guarantee wealth either. Many hardworking people struggle financially despite years of effort, while others become wealthy through inheritance, luck, or connections. My point was that intelligence alone doesn't determine financial success, and neither does hard work alone. Wealth usually depends on a combination of factors.

Nothing is guaranteed in life, but trends and patterns suggest that hard work and sacrifice can lead people to success and wealth infinitely better than doing nothing more than accusing those of us who earned our success of privilege, crime, and corruption. You’re not better than us just because you went to college and we’re not villains just because we did the work. There are very few families with true generational wealth in the entire world. Suggesting that negligible minority is more a factor in success and wealth than hard work and sacrifice is beyond absurd. There are thousands of stone cold morons graduating from college. A degree doesn’t equate to intelligence any more than intelligence equates to success, but the trends and patterns are perfectly clear. Outside of inherited wealth, which is not a reflection of success which was written into the original question, and lottery winners, there are no “complete” idiots who are successful and wealthy. Nobody just stumbles upon all of the right opportunities, accidentally makes all of the right decisions AND saves and/or reinvests their earnings perfectly so that they are widely perceived as successful and don’t have to worry about money ever again. Idiots waste their windfalls on nonsense and end up in exactly the same situation they started in. You’re suggesting that the minority of cases is the norm. It is not. OP’s original question is meant to give people the opportunity to reflect on the fact that people who claim successful and wealthy people are “idiots” is ridiculous by any standard. Instead you doubled down.
Every successful person i have ever met earned their success and their wealth, as did i. I wasn’t given anything. I didn’t lie, cheat or steal. I worked hard and i sacrificed.
Contrarily, the vast majority of people i know who have failed to achieve any measure of success, they all have excuses for why they couldn’t or didn’t work hard and sacrifice.

You don't have to be bright to be rich. A lot of times it is being in the right time and place. People who bought a lot of bitcoin in 2010 weren't necessarily smart.
