Yes, 20 - 30 is a huge difference, in your 20s your finally learning to be an adult and how to manage everything without your parents. You're learning how to make mistakes and not freak out and just deal with it. You're learning life has consequences and what was one a fun catchphrase, YOLO, takes on a new meaning that "you only live once so don't mess it up".
At 30, you've figured all of that out, so now you can start living life with real maturity. You can look at the 20 somethings and say with confidence, "stupid kids have no idea what they're doing or talking about".
But there's not really any difference between 30s and 40s. You don't really learn any new life skills unless you dealt with tragedy or trauma that forced you to deal with something most people haven't or ever will.
30s to 40s you decide if you want to be more work/career oriented or family oriented. If you're wanting a family and haven't already started one in your 20s or earlier, then now it's the time to start planning and working on one.
30s and 40s is when you settle down. If you don't and you're still a hard partier, people will begin to look at you differently. When you were once the fun and outgoing person, you suddenly become the irresponsible and unreliable person.
Age doesn't mean much any more. Everything is disintegrating.
But then what is the purpose of each decade if it’s all the same?
Ten years is the difference.
Yes of course there is.
