What did the deportations and arrests and storage of prisoners accomplish?
* Are there more jobs for Americans to do, now that your local workforce is gone?
* Did your food costs go down?
* Did your energy and gas prices go down?
* Did your health insurance, housing or car prices go down?
* Did your taxes go down?
Nothing changed in the USA because... wait for it... It was NEVER about immigration. NEVER
Trump has pardoned some of the worst, most notorious drug lords and criminals in the world, while on his watch. He's perpetrated a ruse on you idiots and continues to rape you blind, making a fortune on these prisoners.
That answer is out in left field, review question.
That's not the purpose of enforcing the immigration laws. Other countries enforce their laws. To be fair... maybe the laws are wrong and we should have open borders, that's an issue for the representatives if they could manage it. I got the impression it's difficult and problematic.
Some other questions would be:
have the number of unnecessary deaths of immigrants trying to enter gone down? Has the surprise costs of housing such people gone down. Are we still immigrating people, legally to do work? Has this govt deported more or less than the priors? The answer as far as I know... is less. The fear factor has reduced intrusions.
I agree with you we could use LEGAL immigrants. In my view... govt doesn't want lower costs... they want inflation, so we can pay the debt with cheaper $. Doing a job cheaper, with money (some portion) that leaves the country, is bad. American workers guarantees inflation...
The negative to all this... we are less Christian than the prior, no doubt.
Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. I'm not going to get into finger-pointing over an immigration issue that's been kicked down the administrative road for the pas 80 years. As for following the " Law", best not to go there either.
And as for this: " The negative to all this... we are less Christian than the prior, no doubt." I don't know if you're talking about the population or the government? I see no point in the past where the government of the USA either embodied or lived by so-called Christian principles, except for a lot of lip service. The same is true today, and the lip service is even louder.
There are indeed more jobs, We have been running at 4% unemployment form over a year,. Food and gas costs did go down along with inflation until the Iran war. Once the Iranians are finished thy will go down again.
health insurance has stayed the same, not like when Obama was president. Drug prices dropped dramatically.
And YES, my taxes did go down and they went down a lot. About $5000.00.
Immigration is only part of the equation. Exposing and eliminating fraud, imposing tariffs on foreign goods, becoming energy independent again and eliminating over 350,000 government employees are bringing America back to prosperity.
Yes, he had successfully closed the border and is adding more miles to the border wall every day. Oner 4 million illegal aliens have been deported and 15,000 new ICE agents have started coming on line. Every month sets a new record for deportations. Hopefully by the end of 2028 all 20 million are sent back.
You're not only ignorant, you're evil too. Most of those deportees are NOT being sent back to their own countries. Our taxpayer dollars are being used to pay other governments to take prisoners. So USA citizens have been caught up in the ICE nightmare as well. Total bunch of fuck ups.
Meanwhile, back at the Oval Office, Trump kisses Putin's ass and asks Zelensky to surrender land and cities when it was Russia who attacked and started it all. He's a traitor, grifter, rapist. You carry his water, and you're proud of it.
@loveslongnails it is cheaper by far to pay San Salvador 20K a year to keep them in prison than 50K in welfare benefits
@loveslongnails keep in mind some of us were raising the flags prior to russia attacking. the problem went on a long time since what...2011 ish or sooner. the west stuck it's thumb into russias eye and found out. It gets dumped on trump after the west, obama/biden ignited it... right? the only way out is appeasement... or a long exhaustion. take your pick. he wants to end it, but it's ugly no doubt.
it is interesting how there are very different views. it's interesting how so many take no resposibility for what they created by their policies. frankly, trump won't either, they never do.
but that's beyond the root question. if you can't see he took some extreme action on border relative to biden/harris, I don't know what to say...
No one is getting 50k in welfare. LMAO
I am not getting into that discussion at all. My position on Trump and his cadre and their defecation on the American public is clear, and it extends to foreign policy as well. Enjoy your evening.
@loveslongnails with inflation it is now closer to 60K
Congressional Budget Office projections are of 290,000 additional deportations over 2026-2030 (total) at an additional cost to the American taxpayer of $75 to $140 billion (total), or between $1/4 million and 1/2 million per additional deportation, and that's just the ICE and CBP components of costs.
Early estimates put the damage done in recent French riots in the order of $1 billion. 🤷♀️
And before you attach me for using actual facts. I'm not arguing for or against Trump's deportations, merely pointing out that societies face costly choices.

Pfft Trump hasn't nearly done enough, once again he's conning his voters though the question is that his fault or the system or both... Which most likely both. Would've been worse with Harris though that's for sure.
did not anticpate that answer!
I'll take that as compliment
Worse under Harris? LMAO. The US government is a world-wide joke, the economy is in shambles, the cost of everything is unmanageable. Trump is grifting the USA every single day, lining the pockets of billionaires, selling pardons like they were pancakes, letting drug lords and rapists out of jail. so wtf do you know? The UK isn't doing so great either, but not as bad as under Trump.
@loveslongnails Uk is doing much worse and if you knew the answer to why, you'd know why Harris would've done worse. US is doing way better than Uk been that way for a long time but guess you haven't learnt what a search bar is yet? Go ahead... search up which has the better economany it may scare you to learn something. Even if Harris got in it'd be doing better than us but I can see your bias for trump hating as if it was a tattoo
LOL, don't be daft. The USA hasn't secured shit. Most "illegals" just fly in instead, is all
Also, Trump has also deported less people than Obama... despite spending three times as much to do so.
you don't think it's substantially better than the prior guy or his replacement would have had?
Thank God for Trump! Biden was a worthless piece of shit.
I am. Only good thing this administration has done
Obama deported more people than Trump has
Agree
The border needs to be MORE secured and deportations need to quintuple.
Yes, too many criminals
every day.
