I was shopping with my man. We noticed that various garments in the men's section similar to what I buy were priced lower. Why do we have to pay soooo much more for similar clothing items?

You should call the cops and have them track down the gunmen forcing you to pay more. 😂😂😂😂
You don’t “have to” do anything. Those things are pricier because women happily pay more than men.
STOP paying more and the prices will drop. Women are also more likely to fall for insane marketing traps, like “buy more, save more” nonsense. You only needed one new pair of shoes, but you could save 5% by buying two pairs, or 10% for buying three. I’ve literally never met a woman who would leave with less than three pairs of shoes during a “sale” like that. Dudes know that, no matter how much they are telling you that you’re “saving”, three pairs of shoes cost more than one pair and you only need the one pair.
So, just keep doing what you’re doing, but don’t blame anyone but yourself and your goofy friends and family for pricing discrepancies. For anything other than essentials, the price is whatever the market will bear.
That's business 101 supply and demand, simple there is more demand for women clothing therefore costs more. Guys don't buy as much clothes nor care as much therefore it's cheaper.
Same reason handbags are expensive and branded while backpacks that guys mostly use are cheap and barley recognised for brand. We just buy what is cheap and works. While a women will go out of her way to get a certain brand. Of course exceptions exist but that of course is uniquely outside of the rule.
Why do you pay more for an airline ticket the day before than for one booked three weeks in advance? Because your demand is less responsive to price the day before than it would have been three weeks before.
Women's demand is less responsive to price. Hence women pay a larger share of the fixed costs (e. g. building a mall) and pay more for brand recognition.
It's not a tax. It's not a conspiracy. It's the inevitable outcome of women's consumption choices.
They probably embellish them with more expensive materials.
They are similar not the same and different cuts and colors and designs.
because women keep paying for it
It's totally unfair.
