Why are weak men blamed and admonished in the quote hard times create strong men if strong men created the good times that led to weak men?

Ah… the good ol’ chicken vs the egg debate.


This one, by comparison, is simple really, just because times are good that doesn’t mean you have to allow yourself to become soft and weak. That’s women’s role. Men should maintain the attitude “If you stay ready, you won’t have to get ready”. Like it or not, it IS up to men to maintain order. Women aren’t going to do it. Therefore it IS men’s responsibility to restore order. Women can’t do that either.
If all men understood this and took their role in society seriously, we would mostly have good times.


What i’m not really certain about is whether or not men get to enjoy the good times, other than vicariously. There is a price to pay for pragmatism and vigilance, and it might be that you only get to watch the people you care about enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Because the weak men need to learn to be stronger and to deal with life’s ups and downs. On the other hand, some people are strong and others just aren’t.

The blame should be placed more on the society and the parents who are too naive to realize how critically important strong men are, and to take the steps necessary to produce strong men. Liberalism is the illness that is the root cause.
