Can young people teach older people?

"There is nothing that young people can teach older people."

Well I believe with wisdom it comes from someone who has experience which is accumulated over time which indicates elderly people.

Well I believe that most younger generation knows how to operate most of technology today and knows a bit more it.

Anyone can learn " its never too late to teach an old dog new tricks"

If a 62 year old man and stand next to a 17 year old kid. If I told the kid the meaning of the life and not the old man, then he told the old man, he would of just learned. Information is usually passed down from the elderly but doesn't mean it will always go that way.

I teach my parents and my grandmother lots of stuff , going from technology to things I learn at uni ...

I think young people can learn older people a lot , if you see , most older people are not really tolerant vs gay marriage and "new" things like that , we can learn them or at least try to be less conservative .

I disagree. I don't think what you can teach another person is always dependent upon your age. Some things come naturally to certain individuals and less naturally to others. Everyone is different in their interests and their strengths. I'm not sure the things that ARE age dependent- things that come with maturity and experience, or things that seem natural to a small child but not to an adult- CAN be taught very easily, whether young to old or old to young.

You can learn something from anyone - regardless of their age, gender, race or intelligence. Those who close their minds to learning do so out of ignorance and arrogance. I've learnt a lot from my nephews, and they are 4 & 5 respectively. You can learn a lot about yourself and other people through both younger and older people.

No I think people of all ages have something to teach to others. They just teach it to them in different ways

I disagree because of so many reasons. An example would be: Young people can teach older people things about computers/technology that they have no idea about, I've done it

I'd formulate it slightly differently as: "there's a lot older people can learn from younger people.

Of course they can. Young people can be pretty wise. The thing that easily comes to mind is teaching them how to use electronics.
