I did, but not for the reasons I expected at 18.

Socially, I was shy at first; the real joy came once I found a small group with similar ambitions. Academically, it became fun when I stopped chasing perfect grades and started chasing questions I actually cared about—especially around business, psychology, and leadership.

Some semesters were stressful and lonely; others were deeply rewarding. Overall, I’d say I “earned” my enjoyment by getting involved: research, clubs, part-time jobs, and mentors.

If you’re heading to college, focus on people, curiosity, and small risks—that’s where most of the joy hides.

Out of my 8 years in college I'd say I enjoyed about three of them, and it wasn't the academic part I enjoyed it was the girls. I was a good student but much preferred getting out into real life over academia. But I kind of had to go through it because I came from a family where everyone gets terminal degrees and the pressure was enormous.

Yes, I did for the most part, especially my undergraduate years Graduate school not so much. Part of me wishes that I went to a different college for graduate school. My life would have been much much different than likely for the better.

Skipped that. I went to business school at night while working full time during the day. By 18, my future career was pretty much set in stone.

Yeah. But but my college experience mainly involved a lot of pick up basketball games. Honestly, i think if it wasn't for the pick up games i probably wouldn't have attended class very much.🤣
