Why would a single girl hide her relationship status on Facebook?

Her status was listed as single for months but now nothing shows up. Has it turned complicated or has she turned into a ****ing slut? What does this mean?

i know with me personally I don't like showing my relationship status on Facebook at all because a lot of your so called 'friends' on Facebook who aren't really friends.. they are just acquaintances you talk to speculate about your relationship status and when you do put in a relationship everyone decides to write a lot of comments under your photo and photos with your boyfriend/ girlfriend. I don't like that.. its no onees business who I'm going out

not every1 is big on having the whole of fb know their relationship status

It was until the 8th mth of my relationship I decided to let it be known I'm seeing some1 (though before that, I didn't have a relationship status up, but still). Those who are close to me, knew I was with someone...so that's all that mattered to me.

Sometimes people are just playing with their status for no reasons.I know some of my friends who do so but I never do that.I think its immature.I put myself as in a relationship because I have bf.

I don't know how that could make her a slut? but I did it when I started seeing someone, but we weren't official. so yeah maybe it's complicated
