If you girls told a guy you were going to bed and then he messaged you back saying ''sweet dreams x'' does that come across as gay? Trying too hard? Obvious that he kinda likes you?

No, it's not gay. It is cute. I think it could mean that he likes me, but it's not a definite give away or anything. It is more of a little hint to me I think. But it could also just be a different way of saying good night.
