Love Confession Letter (for guys)?

Guys, what would your reaction be if you received a confession letter of love from a girl ?

Suppose that the girl and the guy are already very close, kinda friends you know! but she considers him a lot more than a friend (she's been in love with him for 3 years)

It dependents on from who, ether way I would have to think a lot about what to do in response. if I like her then I would have to consider if now is a good time for us to become an item(as of writing thing I would probably have a swift "No it not a good time for me") if I have no feelings for her, how do I turn her down in such a way that I don't crush her and her hope for love.

As a point of information, I have written more then one letter of confession to a girl I liked, and never mailed it. sometimes just writing it makes you feel better for having expressed your feels. wile writing mine I thought through how would I feel if I got one for myself and this is the conclusion I came to

Give the girl +1 for going after what she wants. I'd be shocked, pleased if the feeling was mutual. I know I'd feel bad if the feelings weren't reciprocated because for them to put time and effort and heart and soul into that letter would have been a big task and to not get rewarded would be a huge fail.

Rather tell me that you are attracted to me and would like to get to know me better then to profess love.

I wrote one for this friend of mine whom I've gotten closer to before and during my summer vacation. I thought of saying it directly back then, but my vacation ended and I had to go home (I live abroad). I still couldn't contain it, so I wrote one and sent it. I pretty much didn't get the answer one would love to get since I'm too far. But...

... It's been years and he still re-reads it every now and then. It was still in good condition too. He said it makes him feel better whenever something bad happens.:)

Just give it to him straight, but be warned. If he doesn't feel the same way, you're screwed. You can always consider it a joke though. See if he kisses you first though

I'd probably be annoyed at the fact that I had someone amazing near me who loved me and I never realized it. I can be pretty oblivious at times

If the feeling was mutual, I'd be thrilled. If I didn't feel the same way, I would briefly experience stress as I considered how to explain that as gently as possible. Either way, I would be flattered, and would admire her courage honesty.

You need to tell him. If you can't say it in person, then a letter is fine. Of course, of he doesn't feel the same, it may end your friendship, but you can't keep it inside.

And maybe he'll be flattered, think of you differently, and fall in love himself...

I would be really moved and flattered, even if I wasn't interested. If I was interested, I'd be ecstatic. I love reading things like that.

I'd just ignore it and act like it never happened. Those sorts of things are almost always insincere and attention-seeking actions.
