What to put in a locket besides a picture of family since everyone does that?

It's funny that you ask this, because I got a locket for Christmas. The fourth one here, actually...

I was thinking about what I wanted to put in it, and I though I would write a tiny list of... things that I wanted. My list might look like this:

Happiness

Laughter

Family

*name of the guy I like* (hey, it couldn't hurt, haha)

Safety

Love

Good music

Me time

Relaxation

etc, etc...

That was just off the top of my head, so the final list might be different, but I kind of like the thought of keeping those things close to me. :-)

I use to have a locket and I wrote VERY SMALL a prayer on small piece of paper, folded it up, and put it there. I don't know if you're religious or not.
