i don't get why people remove their relationship status on fb. I mean is it supposed to intentionally promote mystery or make the right people wonder and be jealous, or is it cocky wya to show the world its none of their business?
the guy I like removed his r.s. and I wonder like crazy if he's seeing someone or not? there's no pics of him with a specific grl and nothing special on his wall...i haven't seen him hold hands with anyone...

I removed my relationship status because I didn't want people to know that I was single. Everyone I knew was with someone, so I didn't want to look like I was weird. I know that is strange, but I didn't want anyone to know anything about me. I like keeping my personal life to myself. I don't like every person under the sun to know everything about me. Even people in highschool that never talked to me added me as a friend on Facebook. My opinion is that Facebook is too personal, and that is why I deleted my account.
After I dumped my ex last year I had to take off the "In a Relationship" status and instead of switching to "Single" I've just left it blank. It's really annoying when you take down your status and get flooded with messages like, "OMG what happened?" or "who's the lucky guy?" especially because most of them come from people you haven't seen in months and who just want to hear some drama or gossip.
So not worth it.
I removed mine when my ex girlfriend kept calling me and asking me about my love life. I got fed up at that moment and realized that if people really want to know if I'm seeing anyone they could just ask me, and those I would want to know should already know. Just ask him, or remove yours and see what he does.
Yeah, it is annoying having everyone know everything about you.
