Angelina Jolie fires stylist over "leg humiliation". How pathetic is that? Why is she so mentally weak?

Jolie’s poses, with her leg always sticking out (and I mean ‘always’), attracted worldwide ridicule from her fellow guests at the 84th Academy Awards last February that it did not take too long for spoof images to sweep the internet. Jolie was quickly left red-faced when Oscar award-winning screenwriter, Jim Rash, proceeded to mimic her leg pose while accepting his award.

She made a fool of herself. Everybody knows it's her own fault. Instead of dealing with the fact she embarrassed herself, she is now trying to lay blame on her stylist. How pathetic is that?

Did she really blame her stylist or "fire" the person. I doubt anyone keeps a stylist on staff or retainer anyways as she doesn't dress up on any regular basis.

Personally, I had friends who speculated that it was a personal joke or dare between her and Brad Pitt. It looked very silly and seems like the type of thing that you would do as a joke. I cannot imagine she took herself seriously with all of that.

She did not do it on purpose. She did not embarrass herself in front of the whole world on purpose. She posed that way the whole night/she thought she looked hot... that's the funny part. She didn't realize she made a fool of herself. The fact she is now trying to blame her stylist shows she didn't try to be funny.

My friends and I thought she did it because her dress was lopsided.

On one half on the top, it was too heavy but it was too light at the bottom. we thought she did it to even it out. But at the same time...you try dresses on and break them in for a while before wearing it on the red carpet

It's too bad for the stylist, but Jolie was (understandably) upset by what happened. Even if she was ultimately responsible for the incident, the stylist surely played SOME role. She probably wanted to start fresh and avoid reminders of her humiliation. Whether it was a dignified reaction is debatable, but I think it's a complicated situation and she doesn't necessarily deserve to be called pathetic.

Did her stylist force her to wear the dress? No. Did her stylist force her to stick her legs out? No. The fact Jolie scapegoats her stylist makes her pathetic. Whenever she makes mistakes she feels the need to blame someone else. A woman must be big enough to admit her mistakes.

The stylist generally decides what she should wear, the leg thing was probably her own fault though. The stylist might have suggested it (doubt it), but she made the final decision. Personally I didn't see anything wrong with it o.o

She is not a little kid. She is not forced to wear a trash bag just because her stylist wants her to wear a trash bag. Any woman with a brain knows how to dress herself. They don't need mommy to tell them what to wear/what looks good on them.

Look, I agree that a good part of the responsibility is her own. But I assume that the stylist was involved, considering it's her job, and I think it's fair for her to react oddly to such a humiliating experience. People were jerks to her. Celebrities are people with feelings and they don't deserve to be mocked ruthlessly because they make a bad style/ pose choice- especially not to their face.
