Snake doesn't taste bad at all. I've eaten it on a camping trip. Rats are exceptionally filthy creatures who harbor deseases. More deseases and parasites than snakes.

Rattle :) I was out west on vacation and I became really good friends with some Native Americans. They took me to some kind of tribal bonfire and I had it there. Tastes like chicken, but looks a lot different lol.

Snake meat is considered to be very tasty actually. I've heard it tastes like very delicate chicken. But personally I wouldn't eat either, since I'm a vegetarian.

Oh, well then the snake. But not because I think the one is less gross than the other. Neither rats nor snakes are gross to me. Rats are actually very cute to me, as long as they're not dirty. And snakes are kinda cool. But well, I think snake tastes better, so I'd choose the snake.

In America you can actually eat rattlesnake, and I think in the gulf coast region there is a type of rat they do eat. However I would eat snake.
