Beautiful vs. pretty vs. gorgeous

my boyfriend and I are perfect for each other and he's so sweet but when he calls me beautiful,gorgeous or pretty...I'm curious on what the difference is between them is?

Here's how I usually use the words:

Beautiful: A matured womanly eloquence or natural beauty that comes from within.

-Example:My aunt with cancer still looks beautiful even when she's in her hospital bed.

Pretty: How well you present yourself physically. If you have a cute hair cut and you're wearing an outfit that compliments your body style I would call you pretty.

-Example: When I go on a date with someone I use the word pretty do describe how she looks if its attractive

Gorgeous: When you dress up above and beyond what is expected for dazzling effect.

-Example: When I go to the club with my friends and they're dressed up very fancy I call them gorgeous.

I also use the words to describe individual characteristics of women. "Your hair looks very pretty",

"Your eyes look gorgeous", "Your face looks so beautiful when the sun catches it at just the right angle".

He's just trying to change it up I assume. You don't want to use the same adjective all the time!

If I had to separate them: Beautiful - naturally attractive, Gorgeous - Sexy, Better looking than normal, Pretty - cute, not so much sexy, irresistibly huggable.

Nothing that I can think of. Just different ways of saying the same word. Guess if you really want, you could look them up in a dictionary, and read their meanings...

Just different words that mean the same thing. Beautiful would be natural beauty without makep, pretty would be just cute, simple, easy going on the eyes. Gorgeous would mean like your a knockout or too beautiful like above beautiful.
