Why are guys so obsessed with asking girls for photos of themselves?

Why do guys that you meet off the internet always ask for pictures of girls through their phones? They already have pictures of you on your profile for Facebook...etc...so I don't understand.I put up real pictures of myself If that's what they are concerned about but I don't want my picture on a whole bunch of random guys phones. I don't want them showing their buddies and using me as an object along with a ton of other girls pictures they have stored on their phones. 80 percent of guys ask for pictures of me within 5 min of talking to me. It's so annoying. Guys, why do you really ask girls of pictures of themselves. And girls, does this ever happen to you too? What do you do about it? Do you believe it's stupid to give out your photo like I believe?

I do believe it is dumb. They want pictures of me in other ways too... It kills me inside because I feel so worthless when they ask... I just feel like the inside of me doesn't matter.. Like they would rather bury my soul and run off with my corpse...

I never get asked these questions because I never talk to the guys who typically ask those. If I do by any chance do get asked those questions, I immediately stop talking to them and lose all contact with them because they are obviously not worth it, they are really disrespectful.

we ask them because if they send it to us then that means they did it just for us, I don't know but if I ask a girl to do something for me and she does it I find that super attractive, maybe I'm f***ed up but I don't really know
