Peeing in the sink; what's your take?

The girlfriend and I had a debate about this. She thinks peeing in the sink is gross. On the other hand, I think it's fine since it saves water, urine is sterile, and I make sure to fully wash it down. What do you all think?

P.S. I wanted to add "I'm a girl and I pee in the sink" for sake of completeness, but I can only have 5 options ;)

Ok- I know urine is sterile, I know that, but I really don't want it on my hands or my face and I wash my hands and face out of the sink. That's gross. If you have to go so badly and the toilette is taken, I am totally cool with you going outside. Basically, that's the difference between my toilette and my sink- I don't wash my hands or face out of the toilette and if I stick my hand in the toilette while cleaning, I'm wearing gloves. I'm not going to break up with a guy over it, but it's freaking gross and it'd be an issue if a guy I dated did it on a regular basis because then I'd feel like I had to clean my sink like ALL the time when he was over.

Keep it simple- the toilette is where you pee, crap, and puke. The sink is for bathing your hands and face. No complications- you don't piss where you wash, make sense?

It's gross. I brush my teeth there! You can accomplish the exact same thing by peeing in the shower. Right into the shower drain even. You're not using anymore water than you normally use in the shower, and if it gets all over your feet it doesn't matter. You're washing them anyways.

This reminds me of when my brother used to come all over the sink that we shared and rarely bothered to wash it down. There's nothing better than scraping your own brother's sperm off the sides of the sink to clean it. Peeing is not as gross but you still shouldn't do it.

There is nothing wrong with that and nothing wrong with pee or any other bodily fluids for that matter, but when they are somewhere where I wash my hands and brush my teeth, well that's just wrong lol! Peeing in the sink is only okay if the toilet is broken or the shower drain is clogged. And if there's no wooded areas anywhere around. I feel like it'd be difficult to aim and whatnot anyway. Just keep the piss in the toilet and the hands in the sink.

Do it every opportunity. Saves water, is quieter, I don't miss the mark when I start and there is no splashing to make the bathroom "gamey" over time. Didn't realize this might be mainstream.

When I can’t use bathroom, I have to pee in somewhere other than toilet. I use many places as my makeshift toilet and where I often choose to pee in is sink. Some girls say that peeing in the sink is too hard for us girls but I disagree with them. All we have to do is to climb up and sit on the sink. There are no difficulties for me.

The actually peeing part is not difficult. I think there is a huge variety amongst girls how much mopping up is required. Some girls pee straight from their urethra and have no self wetting. Some girls can do this by manually spreading their lips. Some girls have lips so tightly closed naturally that the pee spreads inside until it finds a way out and then there's much mopping up to do. Makes a big difference to if you find the using the sink simple or messy. What's your take rosie? Are you a lip spreader?

I don't think it's "gross" because it's going down the drain, not up in the faucet, so it shouldn't affect my teeth brushing or whatever. But I honestly think it's very odd if a guy WANTS to pee in the sink rather than the toilet.

Disgusting. wtf, why struggle to pee in the sink when you have a toilet? If my boyfriend peed in the sink, I'd never let him go to the bathroom in my house. I'd make him go pee outside or tell him he has to drive around the corner to the gas station
