My boss texts me late at night, is this normal?

I sent him a text at 4:00pm, and he won't reply back until 11:30pm... He has done this quite often on more than one occasion. Isn't that strange?

I sleep with my phone, so when he texted me he literally woke me up. I didn't reply, but then when I saw him the following morning, he asked me if I got his text.

He always checks his messages constantly. He's a supervisor so it's part of his job to do so. He even told me that he always checks his messages, yet he somehow decides to text me late at night...

Normal in what way...? Many business people don't do most of their emails and texting until late at night when they can focus on the conversation at hand. He's into you... that's why he asks if you recieved his messages the next day.

Oh please this people in a whole different damn world. I works a lot of place and even 10 minutes of me posting this my female boss texted me and it was about work, few days ago she texted me again and i did not answer and she saw me at work the next day if I got it. All this bs people saying can be true, but don’t over think that shit because me that is not a manager me and coworks text at late night at time when we need help or have to talk about work. It can be normal. Only way it it not normal if it happening everyday in a creepy way and it not work related. My opinion nobody should be texting you at late night until u gave them permission to do so, ur boss also just really might be available at that time. My boss texted me a few time about work issues or work opinions and ideas at 3am when i needed to be in at 10am. Sometimes things are what they really are which in ur case just a late text from ur boss about work. I will say as a guy we can be sneaky, so I’m also saying keep ur eyes open. If it turns out he wants something out of u say no. Don’t get involved with ur boss, sounds fun and all but it can end bad as well, if u do get involved with ur boss, transferring to another location or find a new job first. At the end of the day don’t sweat it. Some of these people got low self of esteem 🤣😂. They will hate on my post because I’m being blunt about this. At the end of the day the ball in ur court do u.
