He’s my good friend and we have always gotten along very well. He’s only 20 and I’m 24. We recently started texting (mind you I’d never have a relationship or hook up with someone that young, especially a coworker), nothing flirty just friendly conversation. I think we talked about too much and he found me too relatable (lol) because he said I’m so interesting and he’s never wanted to text someone this much (first red flag). I’m like okay, I need to pull back a bit. Before we started texting we had made plans to get food this week (once again, purely as friends), but since we started texting, he has texted me good morning every day (about a week). I haven’t responded today, but I find this odd. He knows I’m 24 and that I don’t want a relationship right now. Could it be he just likes having a friend to talk to or is there more? I’m trying to pull back but we work together all the time plus I do like him as a person I just don’t want to text every day.

You need to tell an authority member at work. This is by no means normal behavior.
