I ask this because I had a respondent to a prior question who said without a doubt it's only a problem for the right wing in the country.. When I had evidence to the contrary he failed to respond.

I personally believe it's a problem everyone needs to solve.

After that, you don’t have to worry about voting anymore. I don’t care, because we’re going to fix it. The country will be fixed and we won’t even need your vote anymore, because frankly we will have such love, if you don’t want to vote anymore, that’s OK.”

The idea that democracy must be overturned in order to enable a small group of leaders to restore virtue to a nation is at the center of the “illiberal democracy” or “Christian democracy” championed by Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán. Orbán’s imposition of an authoritarian Christian nationalism on a former democracy, in turn, has inspired the far-right figures that are currently in charge of the Republican Party. As Heritage Foundation president Kevin Roberts put it: “Modern Hungary is not just a model for conservative statecraft but the model.”

The New Republic published the foreword Vance wrote for Kevin Roberts’s forthcoming book. Vance makes it clear he sees Kevin Roberts and himself as working together to create “a fundamentally Christian view of culture and economics.”

Vance is backed by Silicon Valley libertarian Peter Thiel, who put more than $10 million behind Vance’s election to the Senate. In 2009, Thiel wrote “I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible."

Serious question,

Inspired as countries evaluate a woman as their leaders...

Some women have severe emotional and mental change due to hormonal swings. I've had more than one woman say, they wouldn't vote for a woman as President... and this a reason. I've not heard it from guys so much, but I suspect they think it... we'll find out.

Is this something you evaluate when voting/supporting for a woman for powerful roles... that some women have substantial hormonal change, monthly, that impacts their decision making and work abilities?

Those whom have not seen women's severe mood swings due to hormones may not understand how that influences their thinking and decision making abilities.

Unless you are very close to the woman, you may not be aware of PMS/PMS DD/ mood swings. But it can impact substantially... decision making (I assume women would agree with this statement).

I DO NOT want this to be a "we are or aren't energy independent". Thats not the question! . We'll agtee to disagree BUT if your views on nuclear power are tied to whether we are or aren't energy independent just say so and move on.

It seems like a pretty popular argument online is to show pictures of him with Jeffery Epstein. I mean they were both rich and knew each other before all the horrible stuff about Epstein came out, so I don't really get the point? It doesn't seem like solid evidence Trump went to the island or did inappropriate things with children...

Aside from that Trump has been accused of rape or sexual assault by various people. The common argument is that with multiple women coming forward, they're unlikely to ALL be plain lying. But still, if the evidence was there wouldn't he be in jail? With a certain amount of wealth and power you can avoid consequences for your actions but that can only go so far, I mean Epstein still landed up in jail eventually. On top of that, Trump has equally wealthy and powerful people who hate him and would do anything to lock him up. If there was really proof he committed heinous crimes wouldn't he be in jail right now?

I may come off as ignorant as I haven't looked too deep into this one way or the other, but I'm open to opinions from anyone.
