I don’t think they are horrible, stupid, selfish, soulless, uncaring, spiteful, lack of love for others, but nah not horrible. I do not see a reason why a person would not donate, it would be some respite knowing even though a loved one died, someone had a chance to live a normal life from a donated body part.

I have declined to be an organ donor since I was a teenager. No one considers me to be a horrible person for that. My belief is to live with what each of us have. Plus, there's the moral question of who of the hundreds of persons "needing" an organ actually receive one; I prefer not to get into that discussion.

I think their concern is in a triage situation a doctor might let them die if someone the doctor deemed more important needed one of their organs.
