The Democratic presidential ticket of Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota governor Tim Walz continues to gain momentum, with people flocking to their events and pouring money into the Democrats’ campaign: in the first 24 hours after Walz joined the ticket, the party raised $36 million from more than 450,000 donors, more than a third of them giving for the first time. In contrast, the Republicans seem to be imploding. For years, people have noted that the party seemed to be painting itself into a corner, but it’s very odd to watch it now seem to be trapped.

Yesterday afternoon, after Harris’s selection of Walz had hit social media and enthusiasm was building, Trump posted on his social media company an elaborate and bizarre fantasy that President Joe Biden would suddenly try to take back the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination.

“What are the chances that Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST President in the history of the U. S., whose Presidency was Unconstitutionally STOLEN from him by Kamabla, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, Shifty Adam Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, and others on the Lunatic Left, CRASHES the Democrat National Convention and tries to take back the Nomination, beginning with challenging me to another DEBATE. He feels that he made a historically tragic mistake by handing over the U. S. Presidency, a COUP, to the people in the World he most hates, and he wants it back, NOW!!!”

Due process is a fundamental legal principle that ensures fairness in legal proceedings. It is rooted in the idea that the government must respect all legal rights owed to a person under the law before depriving them of life, liberty, or property.

I am very conservative for the most part, but there are some not-so-conservative causes I believe in.

1. I believe mental health care is a must. Severe mental illness costs the economy billions and can also be a public safety issue.

2. Sadly, prisons and jails have become the defacto "mental hospitals". Why not stop the vicious cycle and the costs of incarceration by rehabilitating the mentally ill?

3. I believe basic shelter, water, and food is a human right. I mean damn, even just a very small prefab tiny home for 1 and even just providing crackers is better than homelessness. No one shall be criminalized for homelessness. It isn't exactly "equity" because there will always be those who strive for more, which is a good thing. Get people off the streets.

Hypothetically speaking, lets say candidate X says something bad or stupid. It becomes a big headline for days. Candidate Y says something just as bad or stupid. It receives little media attention. That is just one example of how the media can favor one candidate over the other. If that happens, is it still a democratic election?

The crux of the matter: Are YOUR ethics and morals relative, flexible and situationally dependent? 🤔

Let's say you see a Tweet or post about a politician you don't like, and it makes that politician look bad, do you automatically share it, or do you see if it's true first?

Obviously certain media outlets favor certain parties. But in an ideal world, should it all be equal? This is a hypothetical question of course (if you don't do well with hypotheticals, just ignore the question).
