As in what rights overall to the fetus or a say in termination or keeping it. I’ve always said it’s no one’s business but the two involved. And while the man was a contributing factor and should absolutely have a say at the end of the day it’s going to come down to the woman’s choice because she is the one most affected.
If say you wanted to terminate and she didn’t I do believe you should be able to terminate rights. I also believe that if it were reversed and she agreed to birth but then leave I think she should be able to terminate rights.
The other option could be overall health of the fetus like poor eating habits (which good luck cravings are cravings) or alcohol/drug use while pregnancy he should have a say if it’s something that could be detrimental to its development.
I read exactly what you said, including, " it’s going to come down to the woman’s choice because she is the one most affected."
That is untrue. The woman may have some discomfort. If the child is born and not murdered via an abortion, the man will have 18-25 years of child support to pay.
Again go back and read. And while it’s not in the law I think if she kept and he didn’t want he should be able to terminate rights which would include not having to pay. The same goes for if she doesn’t want it but he does and she decides to terminate rights after it’s born. She shouldn’t be forced to pay support after either.
You understand everything is hypothetical yes? Like this is a hypothetical concept because unfortunately we don’t live in a world where people can terminate rights and go off Scott free. Sounds to me you’re simply jaded and looking at things from an emotional perspective instead of the logical one
If you're for abortion why not just abort female babies since they're are not women in the US compared to men

You. @msc45. : "So she has the right to kill it, and he has the right to not pay for it according to you?"
Yes she has the right to abort and if she keeps it then he has the obligation to pay for 18 years. Just that.
@DrPepper12 If she chooses to keep it, she pays for it. She does not have the right to decide to spend money I worked for., Fuck that.
Don't wanna pay, bag it before you play!
Because condoms prevent STDs IN ADDITION to pregnancy? REALLY?
And no, no one likes them. They're AWFUL but better than the alternative... 🚼🍼
Hopefully you didn't make your wife go through the terrible process of creating life in order to give you th gift of a family, @DrPepper12, because that would just be awful and oppressive of you
HELL FUCKING NO!! He should have thought about that when he didn't put a raincoat on!! It's EXCLUSIVELY her choice how to proceed. Don't like it? Take precautions!
Someone has to take responsibility. Doesn't change a thing if it happens tho. Her body. Full stop.
The woman should take what he wants into consideration, but she should still get the final say in the end. She's also a piece of shit if she gets an abortion without telling him because he has the right to decide if he does or doesn't want to be with someone who aborted his child.
@msc545 she's the one who has to give birth to it. Why would you even want to bring a child into this world when one of their parents wants nothing to do with them anyway? The goal should be to find someone who would be a good parent.
Find one of the many women who are also very pro life and it most likely won't be an issue.
It took him 2 minutes of effort to impregnate her so why should he.
Again, if he didn't want the risk - put a raincoat on.
@DrPepper12 bullshit
This is why we need abortion so we can correct mistakes.
That's correct and also a valid reason
@DrPepper12 Why is it you believe the woman has all the rights and the man has only obligations and no rights?
