There’s a few caveats here so expound as needed

The suggestion below would apply to some / most non-violent crimes,

Ankle monitor / halfway house, REAL EFFECTIVE STAFFED parole supervision, community service and monetary fines?

Perhaps mandatory labor in which they learn a trade (s) and must demonstrate apprentice, journeyman or mastery level to gain release?

Maybe mandatory education classes, counseling, emotional regulation techniques, psychological reconditioning, etc.

A national service program for non-violent offenders maybe running internships in their area if expertise on home release? Maybe an international program where they provide service and in steps work their way back home?

Just an aside. There are three things that should never be run for profit, prisons are one of them. Healthcare and education are the other two.

Whos worse?

My family is an even mix of differing political views, and we get along just fine as were adult enough to respect others political views.

In the United States, recruiting people into the military is down. The Pentagon says it recruited 41,000 fewer people than it sought to in fiscal year 2023.

The poll below lists many of the reasons given for this. All but one of them is given by the experts as a reason for the decline in recruitment. One is made up.

Personally to me, it's a complete waste of time. I'd rather live a happy imperfect life than be triggered all my life with brief moments of happiness.

I was recently banned from another online community. It was a site for software developers. I did not speak about my personal life, and I only asked career-oriented questions.

I saw one of the moderators visited my linkedin profile, and the next thing I knew, I was banned.

The only other things I can think of was really bad things I did in my past. I had a misdemeanor stalking conviction from 8 years ago. I also was caught up in a sting operation by some vigilantes, who are now facing legal troubles themselves.

I am a changed man now. I am engaged and in pursuit of my relationship with my fiance and maintaining my career. I am a Christian and a church goer and I strive to be a better person.

It's August if you can believe it! do you recall any new years resolutions you made for 2024? and have you been successful at achieving any?

Mine were: lose weight, save money, tackle my gaming backlog. So far i'm making progress on all of them! im very proud of myself if i must say so ;)

Asians, Hispanics, South Asians (Indians), other Asians and Middle Easterners are very quiet about the discrimination they face in America. To not cause a scene they will Take the punches. But if police target them... there's going to be Shit!
