If people continue to not trust elections, there's no reason to have them. We become a police state. Do you really want this to happen?

I don't mind that Trump questioned the results. It is his right and mail in ballots were more prevalent in 2020 than they had been in the past. Nevertheless none of his claims gained any legal traction. Maybe he had a bad legal team, but that's his fault, he hired them. When none of them panned out he should have conceded.

Trump signals 2024 announcement could be imminent

Former President Trump is signaling he could declare a 2024 White House bid soon after the midterm elections.

Trump sent his clearest signal yet that he intends to announce a reelection campaign during a rally Thursday night in Iowa, the first caucus state in the GOP primary.

“I will very, very, very probably do it again, OK? Very, very, very probably,” Trump said as a crowd of supporters cheered. “Get ready. That’s all I’m telling you. Very soon. Get ready. Get ready.”

Axios reported on Friday morning that Trump and his team are eyeing Nov. 14 as a possible launch day for his 2024 campaign, which would be followed by a string of political events.

Kellyanne Conway, who previously served as Trump’s 2016 campaign manager and a top adviser in the Trump White House, told reporters at a roundtable on Thursday that she expects the former president to announce “soon.”

“I give him a ton of credit for not announcing this year, for not stepping in the way of midterm candidates. … I think you can expect him to announce soon,” Conway said at a Christian Science Monitor event.

“Obviously there’s a family wedding coming up on his property, and Election Day is late this year. But as he would say, wait and see,” Conway added.

What incentive do people have to build and support platforms like Twitter? I think only people spend money are people who have money 😳

Everyone who supports voter id's, wold you be OK with every voter automatically being issued a voter id card free of charge?

We have oil supply issues right now which is feeding inflation. Gas prices are going up, diesel is short on supply. There's a large war going on with no end in sight (Ukraine) and to top it off... we are drawing from Strategic Petroleum Reserves which cannot be sustained for long.

Heating your home is going to be so expensive this year the govt (USA) just dished out several billion to low income people so they can keep the heat on. If you are a working stiff that pays taxes, well, too bad, gonna have to turn the thermostat down or pay the bill.

Should USA be pumping more oil for the forseeable future?

p. s. yes I know the current government wants high oil, they won't open it up, etc.. This all fits into their view of pushing the country off oil.

I was a Liberal teenager in the 2000s, and although I'm no longer Liberal or left-leaning, I still think Dubya SUCKED as president. Obama too. Although neither were as bad as Biden. It's still hard to believe Dubya, this guy, was even president. But then again, we've had reality TV stars and rappers run for president since then.

I also now feel bad for all the Al Gore voters, considering the 2020 election and how a president scammed his way into the White House yet again.
