a lot of middle age people are entitled and think they know better cause they're old. they're also out of shits to give and dont care if people think they're assholes. goes for both genders, but people notice more when women act badly then guys
I think “Karens” are starting to apply to both genders. But I do see older women freaking out more radically. Just wonder why now? We’ve had social media for over a decade but just the last few years have we seen this outburst of anger and entitlement.
It's absolutely entitlement. There's numerous causes for that entitlement but that's the root of it.
Too many people these days were raised without being told "No". Which leads to them thinking they're always right and no one should challenge them. There's also a distinct lack of responsibility being instilled in people as well. Too many people are talking about their rights, not enough about their responsibilities that come with those rights.
I get the impression that the middle-aged Karen's have spent their lives pleasing other people with little reward. They feel that after spending their lives doing as they were told, they are entitled to something, and one day they are frustrated and they snap.
Some are just addicted to gossiping, bitching, and getting in other people's business. Spoiled individuals are used to getting their way, tattling on others, mouthing off, and mostly not knowing what the hell they're talking about, but still thinking they're always right. A Karen won't back down no matter how wrong she is because she needs to vent and if she's pissed about something she's gonna throw her tantrum.
I voted "Other" for Liberal Politics. Liberal Politics has taught them to be a victim, in as much McDonald's has taught us to crave cheeseburgers. Whenever they see a manager, or a male in a position of power, they begin salivating for that victimhood.
That pic is a master class in how not to stare at tits. I think Karens we're caused by 80s TV which is the era most of them grew up in. It promoted the idea of never backing down even if your wrong and being stubborn made you a strong person.
I guess why is it pervasive now? Why the influx of karens? We've had media avenues that woulda shown this shit ten years ago. But something... something happened perhaps around 2016 that "allowed" people to behave this way...
Angry bored bitches. I work with a woman named Karen which is kool as fuck but the jokes got stale like 6 months ago. Some memes unfortunately have a short shelf life.

Karens are the ones that are terrified of a little cold virus and yell at you for not wearing a mask or taking a little cold seriously.
Well every woman I know in America seems to be on what yiu call SSRIs or something similar. Now granted if you need medication you need it but i don't think they do. I watched on the BBC a documentary a few years back about SSRIs and the links to mass shooters, one of the people they talked to was a father who was on anti-depressants as he was having a pretty bad time and smothered his son, apparently it was like a switch was flicked and he saw no wrong at the time he did it. When the police questioned him there was no regret, remorse or emotion, regarding what HD had done, he freely admitted it. He regrets it now he's no longer on anti-depressants.
... so imagine what some of these drugs can do to these Karens. Like if you watch the videos of them most of them have serious mental health problems or are having a mental breakdown probably caused by the wrong meds or over medication
