Paternity fraud clearly meets the legal definition of fraud which under the law is defined as an intentional deception made for personal gain or to damage another individual. However, it is currently not considered fraud under the law (women do not receive prison time for defrauding a man into believing the child he is raising is his own). Why is the law absent? Why doesn’t it punish these criminals who are engaging in fraud by lying to a man about being the father of their kid? Perhaps most painful of all is that when men find out that the child they are raising is not their own, they are almost always legally held responsible as the father even when DNA results prove otherwise. Try to image a scenario where a rape victim has to pay her rapist monthly checks for years after the crime. That would be unthinkable. So why are men who are victims of paternity fraud punished for years of having to write child support checks to the woman who defrauded him even after DNA testing has shown the kids are not his own? While Maury Povich is out there doing God´s work exposing the scandalous nature of women who are trying to defraud men, this subject does not get enough attention. Paternity fraud is far more prevalent than one realizes.

I was reading some blog about how unattractive men generally get "shamed" for talking to women, and making them uncomfortable. One side says that it's no coincidence that all the guys that are called "creepy" are unattractive. The other side says that it's just the way they act that makes them creepy. Is everything "shaming" these days?

I don't know if you guys have heard but there's an election going on in Canada. One of the issues discussed in yesterday's debate was the niqab. The Conservative government wants to ban face coverings during the taking of the citizenship oath, while the Bloc Quebecois wants to also ban all public service employees from wearing it. The left wing parties however argued that it violates religious freedom.

For those of you that don't know the difference here is a picture.


France already banned face coverings and it has been upheald by the human rights court.

What do you think?

Personally I agree with the French ban and would like to see that in Canada. I have nothing against Islam, just the face coverings since I believe it promotes segregation and anti-social behaviour. From my understanding of Islam, the niqab and burka are not mandatory they are a choice so banning it would not be going against Islam but against the individual's right to choose her clothing. I believe that promoting social unity is more important much like wearing clothing with inappropriate messages is not allowed in schools.

So lately I've noticed that in public people of all ages just free flow with what used to be considered pretty vulgar language. Maybe I'm getting old but I just find it tacky/trashy. I've also got kids now and where people used to kind of censor themselves around the kids now we can be out to dinner (or whereever) and it's just open season. Now I'm not relgious or up tight and I do beleive in free/open speech but does anyone else find it tacky/trashy/annoying?

For what it's worth I try to be plesant when it public; especially around children / elderly people. Like let me drop the F-bomb around my grandma, I think she's have a heart murmur. Same around kids, no sense having them going to school and repeat some ugliness because of my insensitivity.

I ask this, because men, while trying to get the attention of a woman, will use cookie-cutter words like 'gorgeous' or 'hot', etc. when referencing women that aren't that great looking. I mean, obviously, we all have different thoughts on what is appealing and what is not, but it's generally the same thing. You'll see a halfway decent-looking woman post a picture, which is then followed by 10+ guys all telling her how gorgeous and sexy she is, etc.

Have you found that women of today have inflated egos (that aren't necessarily in line with her level of attractiveness), and if so, would you attribute the inflation with men that will call just about anything with a vagina 'beautiful'?
