I didn't know it did. I don't hang out with teenage girls. But I do know this is probably when the seeds are sown for them to put themselves on the pedestal in later years. If you really delve into female psychology, you will quickly see that it makes no sense.

This is the result of gynocentrism and undervaluing us boys. Add to it the demand and supply of our sexes. In some places women are being placed on the pedestal whereas in third world countries they are properties.
