I dont think i would mind it, but im half hispanic so it would kind of not sit well with me, even though i basically am white... (i look pretty white). But ide just rather not. When i was a lot younger and didn't pay any mind to what race meant, i thought it just meant you were cute. But as i grow up race plays a bigger part in my life... but ide rather not be called that because its just very "racial"... unless you are just joking.

and jungle fever isn't something you'd call a black woman. it refers to people being sexually or romantically attracted to a person of a different race

jungle fever is a in reference to a black person and white person liking each other. that's it. perhaps you are too young to actually know the reference as opposed to whatever bastardization the word has gone through

so a snow bunny isn't a slut but people may use it to refer to sluts? i feel like i've seen it used to just refer to white women... again i don't use the term and i could see being offended just by a word that references me to any animal than the one i actually am

Obviously you don't know the history behind the phrase. It was used as an offensive term when a white person like a black person, jungle describing blacks looking like monkeys. Go around telling that to a black person and see if they find it pleasing.

i am a black person. you don't call someone jungle fever. i do know the history very well. you use the word in reference to the relationship. you say "oh looks like they have jungle fever". perhaps in the world you live in people use it as a name for someone but they are using the term incorrectly or just to be racist. but the common phrase was popularized (or re-popularized in 1992) after the spike lee movie came out of the same name and simply referred to an interracial relationship. negative connotation was only based on the user

i frankly don't hear anyone use the term anymore, thank goodness. it's antiquated and as interracial relationships become more common i think more and more terms like "jungle fever" are just too wrapped up with prejudice and racist connotations... but even stevie wonder had a song in which he used the term referring to himself.

Actually, the term snow bunny was around in the 50's and meant a pretty woman on the snow slopes. It meant that for fifty years before it was adopted by African-American culture to mean a white woman who is in a relationship or liked to date
African-American men. More recently it has been adopted to mean someone addicted to cocaine.

Originally the term was used to describe a woman that liked to ski. Apparently it changed in the 2000 or in the US as slang used by black guys to refer to sexy white women. So really, this term started out like a normal word but doesn't have old racial history. So, as long as you're using it appropriately rather than as slang, then you'll be fine.
