So young. I still find it hard to believe that he’s not going to be around for all these decades to come

I know right! It's so weird to think about, but yea; we are never going to see his Hall of Fame speech, and we will never see the cameras at a Lakers game, pan to him and his daughter in the audience ever again. So weird and sad to think about. God rest his soul.

I could care less honestly. He was a human like all of us. We're all going to die someday. In the grand scheme of things, he did not really accomplish much. He was an athlete and knew how to shoot a basketball, but what good does that really do for the world? Don't get me wrong, his death was sad. However, he was just a guy who threw a ball. Many military members and first responders die everyday and nobody worries about them even though they accomplish a lot more to help society than any ball player ever will.

It’s hard kind of - I believed at the time but he is so quintessentially typical of the basket ball life I don’t understand fully that he died in such a horrific and unusual way

As a pilot myself, reading about the accident, its apparent people often dont understand the risks associatied with flight. Kobe was a high profile client and I believe the pilot felt compelled to provide a service which exceeded his limitations. Aviation is terribly unforgiving of carelessness, incapacity, or neglect

I feel you man. And I don't even like the Lakers. Kobe is closed to my age so I got to see the rise it reminds you of our mortality. Kobe may have been a legend on the court and worth a half billion dollars but at the end of the day as mortal as you and me. Hug your family when you get the chance because you never know when someone can be taken from you.

I didn't know him personally so its thoroughly easy for me to believe he died. Great player, he inspired me to work on my turn around jump shot. Still have his posters in the attic

I can believe it but I never cared for him anyway so his absence has very little on my little.

Paul Walker is the one that got me. Whew! I actually felt like I lost a brother. I still get misty eyes watching The Fast and the Furious movies.

I don't have trouble believing that Kobe is gone. However, I am still shocked. When my father told me that Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash, I did not believe him until he showed me the news report.

My brother is a huge NBA fan. So when he heard the news, he was broken. And so was I because, thanks to him, I appreciated basketball. I still haven't got over it
