No but once during a AA baseball game I was chosen to try and win a new car. I had to throw a baseball at a target and have it go through the hole that was cut out at the bullseye. I was just hoping I would not embarrass myself but I just missed it by inches.

Only a cold or flu. lol But seriously, the closest I came to that was a practice baseball that rolled over to the wall at the end of the inning that I reached over and picked up (I was in the first row), and gave to a kid. 😊

The kid was about 6 years old and when I handed it to him he looked at me puzzled, as if he didn't know what to do with it (even though he had a baseball glove and our team's hat and jersey on), and he didn't even thank me for it. lol Nor did his mom even make an effort to get him to thank me for it. Not that I was looking for praise at all, but sheesh. He was the only kind for several rows around me though, so he got the ball by default. lol

I would have blasted off to the moon at that age if someone handed me a ball. lol I wouldn't be able to wipe the smile off my face and I'd be very thankful too. 😊 Other than the lack of a "thank you", it was just odd to me that the kid looked so puzzled when I handed it to him. He was dressed to the nines with our teams gear, but it's almost like his mom took him to the game without him even knowing what baseball was or something. lol I wonder what landfill it's in now? 😂 Anywayyyyy... lol

I have handed things to kids at the fair, games, etc, some show no appreciation, some really do... I also am one of those who show that appreciation when someone hands me something... like 'Hey.. thanks' :) I caught things at games, that made me feel real real good. At another place i was at... I wanted a autograph... I was like, 'thinking.. am in all black... then I said... 'ooooh' i have a place... my 2 white lines on my shoe! we all smiled. It was nice. I told the guy I will forever keep this shoe, he smiled.

Since I was so little very young.. i have always had been so polite. etc

I caught footballs, baseballs. tires and parts coming my way over a fence--which was scary... threw me in a panic and had to leave.. that was at a small race track. Where I got the autograph was at a monster truck show.

it was terrifying for me... i told my aunt, i i really appreciate you taking me to a race track that i have always wnted to go to, ... i just can't handle this one and i need to go because of my panic and the smell is too much.. flaps of tires coming my way and tires etc.. and the smell of the exhaust was just too much... not for me. so my cousin came and picked me up. i told him i apologise about this, it's just i couldn't handle it.. he stopped me and said nah it's ok really... what you're needing is like nascar or something bigger thanwhat this was. I said yeh... maybe if the bleachers wern't right next to the fence and that fence had the holes in it and it's not like the fence was that much taller than us he said its ok, turned up a good song and bought me a coke and still talking with me that whole time while calming me down
