I am an NBA fan. I travelled to Africa this February. I noticed there that regular African guys were a lot shorter than the Black NBA players?

Then I travelled to Europe and noticed that European men were just 5 to 7 inches shorter than White NBA players.

Black NBA players- 6’6

Regular African men- 5’4

White NBA players- 6’6.7

Regular White men- 5’11

Mestizo (Hispanic) NBA players- 6’4.5

Regular Mestizo men- 5’4

Interesting. Some of those countries have tall men. So I find it odd that the regular African man, in your estimation is 5'4".

Now in relation to the NBA, those players aren't exactly representative of regular men, let alone regular black men. By the virtue of the fact that they're in the NBA they're already out of the norm in terms of height.

Nope, definitely not. The tallest men that I've encountered are from Montenegro followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, the Netherlands and Denmark.
