What's your opinion about F1?

I used to be interested in that when I was a kid. I remember Schumacher, Alonso, Hamilton, Webber, Rosberg, Raikkonen, Vettel, Massa. All that stuff.

Later I realised that who wins is decided by who has a better vehicle and not driver's skills and my interest faded.

I normally watch a few races of the season, but yeah it is mostly the car or engine. For example Mercedes was dominating for years, now it is Redbull, even though Lewis is still a very good driver.

The reliability of the car is a huge factor as well, as noted by Ferrari this year, the strategy was awful most of the time, but engine failing all the time made them lose for sure mant points due to retiring or penalties.

Yes, except cars are different and the race tracks are not round, but have more bends.

I think it was better back in the latter '90's when I started watching it. I took a break from F1 around 2015 to '18 because I got burned out on it. I'm watching it now but it's just not the same. I miss the in-race refueling and the lollipop during pit stops. My favorite circuit was Hockenheim until they destroyed it by eliminating the long run into the woods.

If I happen to pass by a TV that is tuned to a race, I'll stop for a few moments to watch, then go on my way.

It's eye-catching, like seeing a lovely woman, stopping for a moment to appreciate her beauty, then going on with life.

I never got why this is even considered a sport without Redbull’s influence it would have died decades ago.

It’s a sport that takes a lot of money but only has little fan base.

Redbull uses it to move its money around also for its marketing strategy.
