Are you good at it? Pro athletes not only work hard to become good at their sport but they are born with certain attributes that make them better than everyone else. I was introduced to a guy who at the time was the best miler the US Olympic team had. He did not look an any better shape than me. I figured if I could go toe to toe with this guy it would be a big deal. The gun went off and I kept up with him for the first mile and then he pulled away and was gone.
