If you could be the best player in any sport what would that be?

So say what sport you would choose, what team you would play for and what position. And why you chose those those.

For me I would love to play for the Utah Jazz and be a 6’6” PG/F. Bringing a championship to Utah would be incredible!

although I grew up loving soccer as a game, and especially what it would mean to a whole lot of people around the world... I would go with the NFL instead, because American Football is just such a more intricate game in a few different ways too

and I would have to go as a quarterback because that's the one position I have experience with, as for the team... I am not sure, but I would think it could be for a team in a region in which they have not won any championships before, yes... the Minnesota Vikings would be my pick, and I like the cold as well

I'm sailboat racing since I was a teenager. It challenges a wide range of skills, knowledge and intelligence... not just the muscles :D

We are our own team.

My position: skipper, co-helm and tactician.

Yes you can. The trick is to find someone who owns a sailboat. And in a team of several a 'beginner' will enjoy it as much as anyone else. Just don't be scared about a dash of water every now and then :D
Only the very extreme ocean races may be a little too rough.

@Bluemax Yes indeed, it is. Specifically the comradeship with other crews; we often don't see each other for months. It's like a family gathering :) On the water we are ''at war'' - but back in the marina, it's all friendship.

I think it would be gymnastics cause it would be the most dynamic and self directed out of the sports that I imagine myself doing. Skiing would be fun too but a high risk severe injury since your going at such a high speed.

I think doing the cool flips on the metallic bars, I did gymnastics for a few weeks as a child but my aunt decided it was too dangerous for us to continue because we were badly coordinated and ran a high risk of unintentional injury, I was 7 when I quit.

Ah bummer that’s to bad you couldn’t keep going. Doing the flips would be fun! I get dizzy super easy so I can’t do anything like that.

Maybe golf? I’ve never golfed in my life, lmao, but I know they make big money, there’s very little risk of serious injury, the travel seems less frequent, your career lasts longer, and you play in beautiful places. Seems like a decent way to cut out a living.

@Keepitreal007 I used to really be into dirt bikes in my teens. Wanted more to get into racing but it cost too much. (Also into horse sports and pulled back for same reasons) We did have fun racing pit bikes and quads through trails and dry riverbeds though. Then was into cruisers, now more upright street bikes. Dirt bikes are harder to ride they do beat up your body.

It is. They have fun weekend long classes you can take for dirt. It’s easier to learn as you don’t have to worry about traffic and all involved on street.
