Girls, Do you enjoy playing coed sports?

It was usually coed in high school gym for most team sports. Softball, basket ball, soccer…….. I didn’t mind because we had just as many guys on our team as the other team (yes, it’s the guys that made it competitive). When I played college soccer, us girls would have scrimmage games against the high school boy teams and we usually got slaughtered, so that wasn’t too much fun. Lol

I played college soccer and we often scrimmage the girls team. They are pretty good but usually it’s not close. They are known to play a bit dirty when we’re messing around and try to ball tap us lol

I don’t even think it’s a size issue (other than being intimidating) or skill, it was just their speed. I was one of the fastest girls on our team but they would fly by me. None of us could really defend against them. It was fun though.

Yeah speed is a big factor, but also aggressiveness, guys are more likely to try to run you over than a girl

Definitely! That’s where the intimidating factor came in. Guys running that fast and that are that big are scary, so it would definitely throw me off my game but you could tell they weren’t out to hurt us, thank God, because at times they would back off to avoid a collision.

That’s the part about us taking it easy on them, so many opportunities to do a slide tackle but we didn’t want to hurt them. But then at the same time they would give us those cheap shots

Lol…girls can be aggressive too, I guess but we didn’t play like that. The last thing we wanted was for them to turn on us, because we all liked each other. Lol

I think we liked each other, they did it mostly in a joking manner when we would be in the weight room training together, I think they like when we train in our compression shorts

Netball is a lot of fun! I learned the hard way to not forget to wear a cup lol
