Is Frances Tiafoe the most over hyped tennis player in the media, in terms of his career record and accomplishments not being indicative of the amount of the hype he gets from the media?

No I had not heard of him, he’s ranked like 17 in ATP, has made $10 million, so he is getting cash. But not heard of him = not being hyped and he’s a 17 place

A lot of players now make cash from endorsements. I just mean, he's constantly put in the same breath-and seeding-as the other young risers on tour, but he's the only one who's never reached not only a slam final, he's never reached even a 1000 event final or appeared in the ATP finals. And has 1 career major semifinal (at his home event) to his entire career... and is older than all of those guys. His career record on tour is barely over.500.

As I said never heard of him, never mentioned on tv or anything which means zero hype.

Okay, thanks. I just wanted to see if the hype outside of the U. S. on him is as big as it is inside of it. Because he's the same age as Tsitsipas-whose record absolutely smokes his... and guys who are younger, like Sinner, Ruud, and of course Carlos, theirs also does by a wide margin.

Yes until he wins a major event but it’s not that easy a lot of competition out there
