I’ve noticed more often than not the Southern colleges (ACC and SEC) do a lot better at March Madness than say PAC 10 or the Big 12. It always seems like it’s usually a North Carolina team that is in top running.
Probably has a lot to do with there programs being extremely good and steady which would be a magnet for drawing the attention of the better HS players looking for a school.
They care more about sports than they do about academics and they view accomplishments in sports as being far more significant than accomplishments in academics. They are colleges in name only.

SEC is 2nd worse right now. Big12 is worse. Have you noticed SEC teams losing? SEC totally sucked.
Fitter healthier youth and talent encouraged.
