Why do so many of the Asian women's badminton players in the Olympics look like men?

Last night I tuned into Badminton, and I thought it was a Brazilian girl playing against a Thai boy, but then I saw on the screen that it was the WOMEN'S event😂

And just now I tuned into a Doubles match, and I thought it was two Bulgarian girls playing against two Chinese men😂

What gives? The girls from India, Indonesia, Europe and everywhere else all look like feminine women, but the women from East Asia and Thailand, look like MEN. Not all of them, but a good majority of them. What gives?

Jesus, the Bulgarian sisters are so calm, but the Chinese are screeching like wild animals each time they get a point. I don't even need to watch, 'cuz I know when they score 😑

maybe they're gay? And maybe badminton is a gay sport there? Or at least popular with gay. Asian women usually look pretty androgynous in general though but being chubby / short hair make it worse.

I think so too. Maybe, I don't know honestly. But it's the only sport I was good at. One time I got tired of these two guys telling me I sucked. I only sucked at doubles, but I was great at singles, so one time I challenged them to play me two on one. I don't remember if I won, but it shut them up. XD

They actually kind of do, especially SE Asian girls, which makes it weird that so many Western men say they are the most feminine.

I was bad at badminton quite literally the only sport I was bad at to be honest because if not I always was the best girl in every sport and better than some guy too, in ping pong I was in the top 3 (men and women combined).
But badminton never interested me, I always found it too hard cause we have too run everywhere it's annoying. I was better at double but we usually only did single so

It's not Western it's only American / Anglo Saxon they're not popular in France at all but I think it's because you have weird beauty standard in America like I saw beauty standard in America is button down nose and fox eyes those aren't liked in France popular here is big almond eyes (perfectly "designed" and straight not upturned because it make the face look weird) and for nose it's straight nose with high bridges.
In America it's no wonder they find Asian women attractive if they love fox eyes and button down nose. American don't like feminine women but "baby" women cause those kind of nose are only found in baby (for White people) or Asian, it's not a feminine feature but a baby feature (my mother find American standard so creepy because of this).

It's weird too cause all over the world it's white women that are seen as the most feminine / attractive except in Anglo Saxon countries. American truly should stop using West / Western when generally it's just true in the Anglo Saxon sphere. In France we don't use the terms West we use Anglo Saxon, West / Western mean something else.

Well I'm American and I don't find those girls attractive. Though some SE Asian girls aren't bad, especially Indonesian. But usually the ones I find attractive don't have those stereotypical Asian features. Often they're either mixed or have plastic surgery.
But I mean, you've seen the kind of girls I like.

I recently saw a video of Korean guy bullying an Indonesian girl on webcam, saying she was ugly, and the guy himself looked like he had an allergic reaction to a bee sting.

Sorry, force of habit. Because some British men seem to like those girls too. Hell, my cousin is Polish and even HE liked those girls. Our family would give him so much shit for it. They weren't even attractive, and they turned out to be gold diggers. He got in debt because of one.
One of them dumped him because he wouldn't pay for her college, the other dumped him because he wouldn't marry him. They were both Korean. He was giving me crap for liking Indian girls, when he was obsessed with Korean girls. He even went to one of those Asian massage parlors and started eating Korean food, which he never liked.

You're Polish American though not full Anglo Saxon American you're ways different from them.
I think Indonesian are bad looking, most attractive Asian to me are Korean (because I think slanted eyes look cute). SouthEast Asian have weird face and some kinda look Black too (very dark skin, round face and big nose, especially Cambodian are bad looking).
For SouthEast Asian I would say the better looking would be Thai (cause some have oval shaped face which look better than round face).

Asian women are know to be obsessed with money and Korean usually only marry Korean they're very nationalistic (compared to others Asian).
It's rare for a guy to like Korean girls it's usually men that are more popular men are usually more into SouthEast Asian

It was one summer in Poland when I was little. I think it was the Euro Cup that was taking place. It was the first time I'd seen a football match and I got instantly hooked. Than as I got older, my dad sort of got me interested in other sports.

Geography, history and sports are my favorite things too, along with cultural anthology. That's really cool how we both like the same stuff. It's pretty rare to find a girl who is so well rounded, especially one who is into sport

i always watched tons of sport as a child with my father, rugby, football, cyclism, etc... and I had done basketball in club during years.
I was a pro at three point, I can put them no matter where I m on the "field", when I was in match I always had 3 defender on me XD
and on the very rare occasion I missed I had my teammate waiting near to put in the but XD
We were unstoppable and won every tournament.
The rest of the team was shitty though only good for defense but that's it XD

I tried basketball in private school in 5th grade, but my dad didn't want to drive me to any games. I sucked anyways. I only had one good game first day of gym class in high school. I was making all the shots and this kid thought I was good, and he said his money is on me and started calling me "Money"
I only liked playing badminton and football, even though I wasn't that good at football, but I at least understood the sport and had respect for it, so it didn't frustrate me as much, except when they put me on goal, 'cuz I was terrible on goal. I preferred being in the field. I was always the guy who would get the ball back for our team, and I had a lot of assists. Football is fun.
I hated American football and softball the most.

Personally I stopped cause my coach was an assholes, I want on holliday during summer and he threw a fit and every summer he threw a tantrum so I got fed up and said I wanted to stop.

Yes, many time I wasn't bad but I didn't like it much because the ball is too small and after having played basketball so much it's weird.
