I agree Tae Kwon do useless. it's good for exercise and building coordination, confidence... unless you get injured. But practical application is limited.

in tae kwon do I took a self defense camp. the number one rule was... run!:)
that says it all. no way in H I'm gonna try any of those fancy moves in a self defnese street fight.
The karate shown looks possibly useful when well skilled for some scenarios.

again, it's not stupid. you just have to put it into perspective as to how effective it is. If you mis-read your opponents skills and weaponry... you are in trouble.
