This is the new logo for the Minor League Baseball team Baysox, now called the Oyster Catchers, a reference to its location near Chesapeake Bay, where oysters are harvested.

Some people have found this offensive.

The people who find it offensive say that the oyster in the glove with a pearl (baseball) in it looks like a particular part of female genitalia. People can see whatever they want in anything. These same people probably find clouds offensive.

Not offensive.
Some people will think nothing of it.
People with dirty minds will find it suggestive. Some of those people will find the logo appealing or amusing. But others look for any reason to be offended by anything.

Nope, I don't see a vagina. I see a baseball mitt and an oyster with a pearl/baseball. Maybe a little complex to embroider on a hat or shirt but it looks good and gives a nod to local culture.

Since I have been Graphic Designer/Artist/PhotoCompositor for 58 years, I can certainly respect the work that went into the design process. Should it be widely used for "family-oriented" media? I wouldn't think so. Maybe just stick with the bird perched on the bat rather than invoke this new patch.
